To give the greatest gifts we can to our children: the ability to problem solve collaboratively and live productively in a very dynamic world. Through the process of guided participation, we aim to build the foundations in each child that leads to developing resilience in the face of change and challenge.

Our teaching guides work in collaboration with parents to build each child’s resilience. By systematically and productively challenging each child to grow beyond their current levels of competency we aim to increase the child’s ability to think flexibly.

We aim to build on each child’s strengths as well as working on overcoming limitations. School activities, ranging from academics to exploration and discovery in nature and in the community, are used as vehicles to learn how to effectively communicate with and learn from more experienced guides.
